Teaching Children How To Make
Good Decisions
This section focuses on the importance of using counseling to help children
solve problems, to aid in building trusting relationships between parent
and child and to strengthen the quality of the decisions children will make
as they become increasingly independent. A connection is established
between the understanding of problem solving techniques and substance abuse
prevention, teaching skills and values to children.
