The New Jersey Department of Human Services, Division of Youth and Family Services is now requiring that all child care employees complete 8 hours of continuing staff development each year as a licensing requirement (N.J.A.C. 10:122-4.7). Training is being offered in central and southern New Jersey which creates a hardship for many northern New Jersey agencies and their staff.
